Lee’s primary responsibilities at Group Services are the analysis of client claims trends with detailed financial analysis and executing the quoting process for new and existing clients. His strong desire to provide predictive models for future medical plan performance and investigative tools to explain previous plan performance in accessible methods define his role in the Group Services client reporting process. Working in benefits quoting Lee investigates options for our clients to expand their benefits offerings and to find the best value in the benefits they currently offer their employees.
Lee’s background before coming to Group Services is rather diverse. He has worked as a software developer/programmer, database manager, undergraduate instructor in multiple disciplines, an author of courses in the humanities and a leader at various non-profit organizations. During his undergraduate degree, Lee studied breast cancer detection and reconstruction including the development of 3D cancer progression models and health outcome tables. Continuing on in his graduate degree, Lee developed methods for making teaching accessible and applicable to a variety of audiences. His focus here at Group Services is to provide information that our clients can use in providing quality benefits to their employees.
When not working at Group Services, Lee enjoys time with his family and reading. He is also a science-fiction and pop-culture enthusiast. (42)
